Thursday 15 August - Solar panels and batteries
Have you ever wondered about adding solar panels or a battery to your house?
At our next meeting this coming Thursday at 7:30pm at the Balliang Hall, Robbie and Leanne from Green Earth Electrical will be joining us to discuss the latest developments in solar and batteries.
It will be an interesting discussion even if your house is already equipped with panels.
If you don't be sure to bring all your questions and get them answered.
Everyone is welcome. Supper and an informal chat will follow afterwards.
Sunday 25 August 10am-12noon
Join us at the Triangle Reserve to plant some trees and do some maintenance on our local reserve. BBQ lunch to end the morning.
Sunday 15 September 15 9:30am to 12noon
Help us collect tree guards and stakes ready for distribution to our members in 2025. We will be collecting from a past planting on the
Wilson's property. A lunch will celebrate our morning’s efforts.
Plant more trees on your property for Koalas!
As described in David and Pam Goble's article in the August newsletter - locals around You Yangs and Brissies are getting more Koalas trees and habitat planted again this winter. Koala Clancy Foundation is aiming to plant 300,000 trees for our local koalas by 2030.
